Ying & Yang
AvailableYing & Yang are a young, small pair of female and male cats, a mix of Domestic Short Hair and Bombay breeds, with short white coats. They are both just over a year old and currently living in Orange, CA. Ying has been spayed, Yang neutered, and both are up to date on vaccinations. They are house trained and, having come from a challenging past, would do best with experienced cat owners.
About Ying & Yang
Say hello to Ying & Yang, a bonded brother and sister duo who survived a harsh start to life and are looking for an understanding home. Ying, the protective sister, can be wary at first—if you approach her gently, she allows you to handle her and even shares her affection. Yang is the curious and playful brother, more relaxed and easygoing, happy to lounge on the couch or watch the world go by through a window. Both are mellow overall but need adopters with experience in reading cat behavior and plenty of patience as they adjust to trust and comfort at their own pace. They’ve lived with older cats and a small dog and do just fine with feline companions, showing clear boundaries with other animals. After everything they’ve been through, these two need a committed cat-savvy home ready to offer a second chance and help them blossom. What are you waiting for? Apply today!

Questions about Ying & Yang
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Ying & Yang, as a Domestic Short Hair/Bombay mix, are quite adaptable but especially thrive in calm, patient homes where their unique quirks are respected. A quieter household with space to retreat and explore is ideal for these siblings.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Domestic Short Hair and Bombay cats like Ying & Yang are content as indoor cats and don’t require outdoor access. They enjoy sunny windows, perches, and cozy spots inside rather than outdoor roaming.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
While some Domestic Short Hair/Bombay mixes can adapt to children, Ying & Yang are best for adult-only or homes with experienced older kids, as their early experiences have left them skittish around rambunctious environments.
