Prince Male MRQ# G11-25-1 DOB: 08/17/2025 Prince was born to a stray mama cat (Ghost, who is also up for adoption) in my backyard on August 17th. His mama collected the kittens at two weeks old from behind the shed and deposited them and herself on my doorstep until I agreed to let them all in and take care of them. Prince was the smallest of the litter, so he got the name Little Prince. He is very play motivated, loves his sister and mama, and plays with our 4 year old male cat. He will definitely benefit from a home with a cat companion, preferably his mama Ghost who is barely out of kittenhood herself at just over a year. I think his personality is best described as that of a teenage boy.....aloof and will not seek loves from his human....but will gladly complain when he needs attention. Food, pets, play. He will not come up and nuzzle....he's way too cool for that....but once you start giving him loves and especially shoulder massages, he will begrudgingly accept the loves. He will try not to purr, but sometimes his motor betrays him and kicks in. Similarly, he does not "like" to be held but will allow it (not scratch or be aggressive in any way) and occasionally seems to begrudgingly enjoy the attention. Again.... that teenage boy personality...."ew mom, stop, gross, go away....ok fine...this is kinda nice...n I'm kinda cold... ooo, blankie<3". He is the one kitten who ALWAYS sleeps on me at bed time. His favorite place to be is up against or in between my legs, and he loves a softie blankie tucked over him so he's warm and cozy. He is equal parts playful and mellow. Loves all toys and if you have toy mice around you will likely occasionally find a "present" in your shoe. He is also a little laundry thief and will steal stinky socks to play with, lol. I am happy to arrange in home meetings. I work weekends so it's hard for me to get them to the adoption events which are right in the middle of the day. He is litter trained, fixed, dewormed, and had all his kitten shots and this quirky little baby is ready for his forever home.
