About Polka
Meet Polka, a large Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix about 4 years old, living in Tulsa, OK but adoptable anywhere in the United States. Polka is gentle to her core, relishing slow walks that give her time to sniff and observe her surroundings. She delights in long breaks, content just to sit with you and take in the world. After two TPLO surgeries, she moves with her own signature gait, but she's still strong and healthy. Snacks—especially chicken—are her favorite, and she takes treats with a surprisingly soft mouth. While Polka is selective with other dogs, her real focus is on her person, preferring to be the center of your world. She’s incredibly gentle and loving with children, and is happiest on the couch or sharing a smile with her family. Polka isn’t fond of cats, so a feline-free home will suit her best. She is crate trained, house trained, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and current on preventatives. Her friendly, kid-loving personality will fit right in with the right family. She’s a Sagittarius, so don’t be surprised if she charms you with her adventurous spirit and her sunny disposition. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
