About June
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Meet June, a delightful member of the "Handmaids Tale" litter, boasting a charming mix of Pit Bull Terrier and Siberian Husky, with a little Rottweiler thrown in for good measure. This brindle and black, medium-sized gal sports a wrinkly forehead that only adds to her endearing personality, and her signature hound-dog bark is sure to bring a smile to your face. June loves water—whether it’s a pool or her water dish—and is happiest splashing around during playtime. She enjoys the company of her siblings and is learning to interact with cats under supervision. June’s mellow nature makes her a bit calmer than her siblings, yet she still displays all the playful enthusiasm you’d expect from a young pup. She relishes snuggle time with people and meeting new faces. Currently, she’s working on crate training, housebreaking, walking on a leash, and mastering basic commands, but as a young dog, she may still have occasional accidents or whine while settling into her new routine. June is ready to make a wonderful addition to any home with older children (8+), a friendly male dog companion, and a secured, non-electric fenced yard. A home visit is required within 75 miles of Kettering, OH, and she can meet cats given proper supervision.
