About Ember

Ember landed in a rough area but her sweet, friendly nature instantly stood out – even when she was thin and struggling, she never lost her good heart. The plan was only to keep her safe for one night, but anyone meeting her would understand how she ended up staying. Sending Ember to a crowded shelter felt wrong, especially since she easily wins people (and dogs) over, so she waited, recovered, and kept hope. Now Ember’s fully vetted, spayed, and set for her forever home. She’s about a year old, high energy, and reliably silly. Ember loves a yard and the company of other energetic dogs; she hasn’t met a pup she didn’t want to play with. She enjoys being brushed and loves water and digging—she and Sly treat every day like recess. Ember is crate-trained-ish: expect a little bark when she’s ready for attention. She is soft to the touch and a joy to be around, especially for someone who likes a lively sidekick. Ember is house trained and gets along well with both dogs and children. If your home has room for loyalty, laughter, and a small dose of chaos, Ember might be the missing spark. Start your journey together! Apply now.
