Nuka had a rough start, living on the streets of North Tulsa for more than a year and keeping his distance from people. In 2024, rescuers worked patiently to earn his trust, and after several months, they managed to bring him in. He arrived with heartworms, a tick-borne illness, and a fear of humans, but over time, he's come out of his shell. Nuka is now healthy, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He’s dog friendly, especially with confident, calm companions—not high-energy types. He loves food, belly rubs, and staying warm and dry. Nuka is calm, shy, well behaved, and both kennel and house trained. Since he hasn't lived in a home yet, he's available for foster-to-adopt in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
