Ghost Female MRQ# G11-25-0 DOB: 11/10/2024 Ghost was a feral cat lurking in our yard since she was a kitten. She suddenly became very friendly out of nowhere, and we almost immediately discovered why. She was pregnant and knew she needed help protecting herself and her babies. After refusing to let her in the house she had her babies behind my shed and when they were two weeks old, she stubbornly pulled them out of their hiding place and deliberately brought them to our back door and continued to insist that I protect them all.....to say that she is tenacious would be an understatement. And how could I refuse? A sia lynx point is a mix of tabby and Siamese which means she is beautiful, vocal and very intelligent. She speaks in a large variety of parumphs, purrs and meows. She is still half a kitten herself (vet has estimated her birthday at 11-10-2024) and is both playful and ridiculously lovey! She absolutely adores belly rubs, will squirm and wiggle begging for them and is sitting on my lap "helping" me type atm but will be off and zooming soon...and then will be back for more loves. She loves playing with her kittens but also very actively seeks her human companions interactions and attention. Everyone adores her. I have even had my 1.5 year old over to play with the cats and Ghost gave her a little pat and a kitty kiss which she adored because her mom's cats are shy and wont have anything to do with her. I honestly love her so much but my kids 4 year old cat does NOT like her. I think it's because she was very defensive when the kittens were small and also she went back in to heat after weaning the kittens and was pursuing him which, being fixed, he could not understand and saw that as agression....that left a negative impression on him. Now that she is fixed she is way more calm and tries to make friends with him but he just won't have it :( So I do think she would acclimate to a house with another young-ish cat....but I will say she loves attention and will insist on a LOT of love. She will follow me around the house like a little dog. But oddly enough she doesn't always sleep with me. She loves cuddles and play but at bed time will often seek a pillow or the headboard to gaze out the window and doze off. Her son, Prince is the opposite, a little stand offish during the day but sleeps between my legs every single night. 3 of the 4 kittens have found homes. I would really love for her to be adopted with her remaining son, Prince, so that they both have each other in addition to loving human companion(s). She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and flea treated.
