Salvador is one of the countless doggies that was found roaming the island of Puerto Rico. This boy got into something and contracted botulism. When found he was completely paralyzed and near death. Luckily we got him the care he needed and he fully recovered. During recovery Salvador contracted distemper. Talk about a 1, 2 punch. Again, he fought off the disease and recovered. Despite such a horrific beginning in our care Sal has flourished and is ready to join a forever home where he can be the pampered boy he deserves. Sal is 3.5 years old and weighs 36 lbs. He is healthy and a very happy boy. He loves playing with other dogs and will flourish in a home with or without older kids. Sal is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines and on heartworm and flea and tick preventatives. Once adopted, we will fly him to Newark, NJ and his adopter will meet him there to pick up and take him home that day. PLEASE NOTE: You will be picking up in NEWARK, NJ.
