About Rufus

Meet Rufus, a delightful Labrador Retriever who’s ready for a fresh start. Rescued from a troubling situation as a tiny puppy, he’s now an 8-month-old, 20-pound bundle of sweetness, fully vetted, and looking for his forever home. Though a bit shy at first, Rufus will flourish in a calm environment where he can feel secure. A lovely fenced-in yard is ideal for him to explore once he’s settled in. Patience is key—he needs some time to adapt and bond with his new family. With enough love and encouragement, you’ll have a loyal companion on an incredible journey. Rufus is great with other dogs, having grown up with a pack of eight fur buddies, which helps him socialize. After adoption, he’s set to fly to Newark, NJ, where his new family can pick him up. Rufus is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated, making him ready to leap into your heart. Don't miss this chance to welcome such a beautiful boy into your life!
