About Humphrey

Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today. Humphrey is an 11-month-old bulldog mix with a big body and an even bigger heart. He believes he's a lap dog and thoroughly enjoys cuddling with his foster mom. This playful and affectionate pup is dog friendly—he currently lives with multiple dogs and enjoys making new canine friends at adoption events. Although toys are a huge source of joy for him, Humphrey sometimes prefers not to share, which seems to be a common theme with his foster siblings as well. He’s crate trained, knows basic commands like sit, shake, and lay down, and is fully house trained. Humphrey is very food-motivated and loves giving kisses. He enjoys walks and handles the leash well when alone. He’s athletic and clever, sometimes showing off his ability to counter surf when tempted, but those are his only minor quirks. He has been neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives. If you’re looking for a fun, loving, and intelligent companion, Humphrey could be the perfect addition to your family. Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue is a foster-based organization in Watertown, WI and does not have a central shelter; dogs like Humphrey live with foster families until adopted.
