About Chopstick
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Heartbreak Alert: Chopstick and Maple Need You! Once upon a time, two sweet siblings, Chopstick and Maple, were rescued from a rural shelter in North Carolina with their mom, Ghibli, when they were just tiny furballs of two weeks old. They found a loving home with their foster mom, and life seemed perfect! But fast forward a few years, and their world has turned upside down. Their foster mom, who once cared for them deeply, could no longer keep them. Now, these two scared kitties are back in our care, and it's breaking our hearts. They're huddled together, feeling lost and confused. Did you know that nearly 30% of pets end up in shelters due to family changes? It's a tough reality and the reason why we always welcome our kitties back into rescue. Chopstick and Maple (calico) are fully vetted and just need a little patience. They may hiss, but they won't hurt you! They thrive on each other's company and just need someone to show them love again. Can you open your heart and home to these two? Even a spare room could make a world of difference! Let's help them find their happy ever after. If you can foster or know someone who can, please reach out! Let's give these fluffy sister & brother the love they deserve! Fun fact: Chopstick's birthday is June 3rd, which makes him a Gemini—known for adaptability and a playful spirit.
