About Callie
This could be the start of something paw-some. Callie is a beautiful Catahoula and Cattle dog mix who’s looking for a loving home as the only dog in the house. With over five years in her previous family, Callie has shown herself to be the ultimate couch potato and blanket stealer, always ready to snuggle up for a lazy day. She delights in toys like sticks and bones and is perfectly content to spend her days with a favorite treat or toy. Callie can be wary around new people at first, but once she gets to know you, she’s happy to soak up all the attention you’ll give her. Gentle and patient with children, she welcomes affection—even from the youngest family members. She is housebroken, kennel-trained if needed, and not destructive inside the home. Although she enjoys walks, she doesn’t like passing by other dogs and prefers to be the only animal in her household. She also has a strong prey drive, so she is not suitable for a home with cats or small animals. Callie loves food and treats, making her easy to please. She’s the perfect match for someone looking for a loyal and affectionate companion who enjoys comfort and play. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
