Meet Lena! My name is Lena! I am a one year old mixed breed. I arrived in Wisconsin on August 23 after being at the shelter for 5 months. I LOVE food, toys (especially balls that fit in my mouth), playing with my foster siblings and cuddling. I would rather be with my person than crated. I can do the stairs and walk well on a leash. I would not do well in an apartment or duplex because I’m vocal, not like Celine Dion though. I am very athletic and can jump on the counter. I also love the water. I live with three foster brothers that are all close to my age and a resident sister dog that is 5. I get along great with all unless they try to take my ball but I have gotten better with this. My best home would be with someone that is retired, works from home or isn’t gone long. I would love a doggie friend to keep me entertained and to help burn off my energy but not a requirement. If not, I’ll just need exercise. Besides being a clinger, I am the best girl. I have been to three dog events and have made human friends of all ages. I have also met many dogs there. I have not met a cat yet but can be cat tested. Lena is available for adoption through Ma Paws & Me Pet Rescue based out of Watertown, WI. She is spayed and is microchipped, dewormed and up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $450.
