Jim is breaking our hearts He is a big, lovable, ADORABLE goofball — basically a giant puppy in an adult dog’s body. He’s got the spirit of a baby who’s still figuring out how to “dog,” and sometimes that means mistaking our staff member’s desk for a bed (oopsie — let us add sense of humor required) But behind his clumsy charm is one of the literal best and SWEETEST souls you’ll ever meet — He is one of the dogs everyone is rooting for here, so whoever picks him will be a true hero When Jim first arrived, he was calm, affectionate, and full of joy — the kind of dog who lights up the whole room without even trying. But the shelter environment has been too much for his sensitive heart. Now, he trembles in his kennel, drools with stress, and stares out with eyes that beg and plead for comfort. The noise and loneliness are breaking him down. Outside the kennel, though, the real Jim comes rushing back — silly, gentle, social, and sweet. He loves people, is open to meeting other dogs, and just wants to belong. He’s ready to learn, love, and rediscover life with someone patient, loving and kind enough to help him shine again. Please, we’re begging for a foster or adopter. Don’t let the shelter take the last bit of light in this beautiful boy.
