Just like her sign suggests, she’s energetic, adventurous, and always ready to explore! 🌟 Sadie is a lovely mix of Border Collie and Lab; she came to a local shelter as a tiny puppy in the summer of 2023 and was then transferred to her loving rescue on June 7th. Now, let’s talk about her journey. 🌈 Sadie faced some challenges with a positive heartworm test, but fear not! She’s currently on a slow-kill treatment plan and will be re-tested on December 9th—she’s been a trooper! 💪 She’s spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. With all this love and care, she’s ready to find that perfect forever home! Oh, but Sadie isn’t just any pup. Once shy and timid, she has blossomed into a social butterfly who adores attention. ❤️ She knows how to charm you and isn’t shy about asking for some snuggles! Though she’s filled with energy and needs a yard to run around in, she also cherishes family time and wants to be your loyal companion. At a playful 35-40 pounds, Sadie gets along well with other dogs. Her ideal home includes a playmate! She may have a bit of a dominant side with some females, but she’s never aggressive and is great with males. She’s learning to walk on a leash but could use a little training to shine even brighter! Now, if there are kids in the home, they should be 10+ to ensure everyone can enjoy playtime together safely.
