About Sampson
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Sampson is a sweet, energetic Shepherd mix on the hunt for his forever home. This handsome boy is about 2 years old, weighing around 48 pounds, and features a striking brindle and cream coat. He’s making excellent progress with potty training and is learning to settle calmly in his crate. Sampson has not shown any destructive behaviors and absolutely loves to chew on bones, making him a delightful companion to have around. Sampson is a fan of walks and jogs, and his leash manners are truly something to admire! He knows “sit” and “shake” (with either paw), and he takes treats very gently—an impressive feat for such a playful pup. He’s catching on quickly to the joys of fetch, showing his eagerness to learn and have fun. In both the shelter and his foster home, Sampson has gotten along well with male and female dogs, currently living happily with another male dog. Given his playful energy, Sampson would thrive in a home with a dog companion who can match his enthusiasm and patience. In public, Sampson is confident and friendly, always eager to greet new people and ask for affection, and he’s known for his good manners—even ignoring reactive dogs he meets out and about. Due to his high-energy personality, he’ll do best in a home with children aged 10 years or older. Sampson is waiting patiently to meet his forever family and bring joy and adventure to their lives. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
