Sampson is a sweet, energetic Shepherd mix looking for his forever home. This handsome boy is about 2 years old and weighs around 48 pounds. Sammy is making great progress with potty training and is quickly learning to settle quietly in his crate. He hasn’t shown any destructive behaviors and loves to chew on bones. Sampson enjoys walks and jogs—he has wonderful leash manners! He already knows “sit” and “shake” (with either paw!) and takes treats very gently. He’s also catching on fast to the fun of playing fetch. At the shelter, Sammy got along well with both male and female dogs, and he currently lives happily with another male dog in his foster home. He still has some playful puppy energy, so he’d do best with a patient dog companion or one who can keep up with his enthusiasm. Sampson has great public manners, ignores reactive dogs, and is confident and friendly when meeting new people—always ready to say hello and ask for pets! Due to Sampson's enthusiastic personality, he will be more suitable with children 10 years or older. Sampson is patiently waiting to meet his forever family.
