Tango
AvailableTango is a large, senior mixed-breed dog combining Pit Bull Terrier and Mastiff heritage. She sports a shiny black coat and is up to date on vaccinations. Tango lives in Bakersfield, CA, and would thrive with a forever family ready for her easygoing temperament. As a spayed female, she's ready for adoption and best suited for a home that can appreciate her gentle spirit and laid-back style.
About Tango
Tango wandered in after the fireworks one summer and ended up staying far longer than anyone expected. She quickly made herself at home, greeting every new friend with her signature grin and the kind of warmth that can't be faked. Over the years, Tango carved out her own little groove at the rescue, but she's at that point where a couch and a family would beat her kennel rock collection any day. Tango knows how to cue up exactly the face you need—comic, soulful, a little bit mischievous. She lives for belly rubs and hands-out kisses generously to anyone looking for some comfort. People swear you can actually feel the stress melt away as you pet her, which is not something you get from most dogs. She’s got just enough energy to meet you for a stroll and chill beside you for a movie marathon, but don’t be surprised if she sneaks off to add to her prized rock stash. Playful without being demanding, Tango is happiest on relaxed walks and laid-back evenings. She gets along with most other dogs and would do best in a home with older kids, if any. With her easygoing nature, Tango is truly deserving of a loving home to call her own. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
