Sugar is a mixed breed Pit Bull Terrier in her adult years, with a medium build and a short coat. She is a spayed female, fully vaccinated, and currently resides in Stamford, CT. Sugar needs to be the only pet in her home and thrives being around people. She's spent several years in a shelter environment, so she may need a little patience as she adjusts to a new routine.

About Sugar

Sugar spent three years in boarding at a Mississippi vet after being abandoned in 2021. When her time there was nearly up, she was brought up to Connecticut, where she's been waiting since December for her real home. Sugar is a true people dog—she lights up around humans and is easy to love. She's got a gentle, steady energy and is happiest soaking in your company. She’s not a fit for a home with other pets, as Sugar does not get along with dogs or cats, and she needs to be the only pet in the household. Sugar is well-trained on her prong collar and walks nicely, making outings straightforward. With a short coat, she's pretty low maintenance on grooming. She just wants a calm, committed person to finally show her the good life. Sugar’s been overlooked for too long; she deserves a chance to belong. Born May 1, she’s a Taurus—you’ll find her loyal, steadfast, and happiest as the center of your world. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
