About Mike $

They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Meet Mike, affectionately called Mikey by his foster mom. This adorable 4-month-old, 20-pound lab/bully mix puppy recently arrived in Wisconsin with his sister, and is searching for a forever family to give him the loving home he deserves. Having gone through a tough beginning, Mikey is now embracing his new chapter with an open heart, showing sweet submissiveness to other dogs and demonstrating excellent kennel manners—he even goes into his crate on his own and keeps it spotless! Mikey is playful yet calm, enjoys cuddling, and is curious about all the exciting smells around him. He travels well in the car and is shaping up to be a gentle, loving companion. Mikey is house trained, loving, and does especially well on a consistent schedule. Prospective adopters should be prepared for a thoughtful application process that includes reference checks and a household meet-and-greet at the Milwaukee adoption center. For the safety of pups during transition, a Martingale collar is required at adoption. Approved applicants not chosen for a specific dog will remain under consideration for future opportunities within six months. Lucky Mutts Rescue is dedicated to finding the best match between pets and adopters, so patience with their volunteer-run team is appreciated. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
