About Oliver
Oliver, or Ollie as heās often called, has been through a lot already. He started out in the care of a devoted military owner but lost his home when his person was deployed. His second landing spot didnāt last either, leaving him to fend for himself before ending up at Lucies Project. Despite his ups and downs, Oliver has made quick friends with both people and dogs hereāand itās clear he wants a place where he belongs for good this time. He lives for attention, loves to run and play, and can just as easily shift into a cuddle buddy when the mood strikes. Volunteers canāt say enough about his affectionate and playful nature, and he fits right in with the group. After being let down more than once, Oliver truly deserves a family whoāll stick by him. If youāre after a loyal companion with plenty of heart (and some athletic flair), heās ready to meet you and finally settle down. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

Questions about Oliver
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Oliver is a mix of Border Collie and Terrier, both energetic types that do best in active homes with space to move. A house with a secure yard and plenty of daily interaction will help him thrive.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Breeds like Oliver benefit from a large, fenced yard or regular access to open spaces. They love to run, so the more room to stretch their legs, the better.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Both Border Collies and Terriers are generally good with children if they're socialized early, so Oliver could be a great family dog with proper introductions and supervision.
