About Leah
Leah’s name might mean relaxed, but she’s anything but laid-back. As a young Lab mix, Leah came into rescue with her sister after they were found alone and hungry near a highway in a rural town. No one really knows their full backstory—maybe their mom was abandoned first, maybe they were just dumped on their own—but what’s clear is that Leah started out with very little. When she first arrived at her foster home, she was in rough shape, her belly swollen with worms. Thankfully, the foster jumped in fast, and Leah got the treatment she needed. Now Leah’s playing in the park with other dogs, finally able to be a pup again and enjoying every bit of it. She’s looking for adopters who are ready for her outgoing and playful personality and can offer her a safe home. Leah would love a family who wants to spend time together and won’t mind getting plenty of kisses. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
