About Carlee
Carlee brings a spirit of freedom with her—true to her name. Picked up wandering the streets, she lucked out when a thoughtful police officer kept her safe until Lucies could step in. Now she's learning the ropes at the rescue, soaking up new experiences and making plenty of friends (both canine and human). The humans are her favorite, mostly because they always have treats handy—a detail she hasn't overlooked. Watching other dogs come and go makes her a little sad, but also hopeful. Carlee adapts well and enjoys meeting new dogs, but what she really wants is a home where she belongs for good. With that long black and cream coat and those bright, searching eyes, she's looking for someone to give her the family she didn't have before. If you're considering adding a loyal, eager companion to your life, Carlee's ready for a fresh start. Your new best friend is just one click away.
