About Sherlock
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Meet Sherlock, a spirited and affectionate adult male pittie mix who found his way to a loving foster home in search of comfort and companionship. Sherlock is known for his medium build, sturdy presence, and enthusiastic outlook on life. He’s happiest when he’s got food, affection, a cozy place to sleep, and a big stick to chew on or tote around the yard. Sherlock gets along famously with other dogs and people, and his easygoing nature means he welcomes everyone as a friend. While he is friendly with cats indoors, he can become a bit too interested when outside, making supervision important around feline friends. Sherlock is both house trained and crate trained, making the transition into a new home easier. His foster mom shares that Sherlock is adaptable and would do well in almost any home environment, whether with a family or a single person looking for a loyal companion. Sherlock is up to date on all veterinary care and ready to become a beloved member of a new household. A few notes from his rescue: Adopters must be at least 25 years old and may be required to travel to meet Sherlock in person to complete the adoption process. They are waiting with paws crossed!
