About Scooby

Scooby is a one-year-old Chihuahua and Yellow Lab mix, originally rescued in Cancun and now ready to settle into a forever home in Incline Village, NV. He’s a small, calm dog with golden and beige short fur, weighing around 22 lbs. Scooby is healthy, fully vaccinated, neutered, and was dewormed. He’s had solid training; he’s housebroken, good on a leash, and well-mannered in the car. He rarely barks and is gentle around children, cats, and other dogs. After a tough start—rescued from harsh conditions after losing his mother—Scooby has proven to be a loving, resilient companion. His energy is mellow but he enjoys walks, play, and especially being near his people. He easily shares food and toys, responds well to commands, and learns quickly. New environments can make him timid at first, but once comfortable, he’s curious and affectionate. Scooby would thrive in a home with active people or other playful dogs, and he’s happiest around friendly company. There’s flexibility on his adoption fee.
