Meet Kokomo, a striking tricolor girl with traces of both Siberian Husky and Pit Bull Terrier in her DNA. After some tough times, she's ready for a fresh start and a life filled with new experiences. Kokomo loves being with her people—she’s happiest curled up beside you on the sofa or out exploring the world. True to her active spirit, Kokomo will thrive with someone who enjoys hiking, jogging, or going on adventures. She’s always game for a car ride and adapts fast to new routines, already knowing a few commands and eager to pick up more. At her foster home, Kokomo plays well with dogs her size, though her style is a bit rough-and-tumble and she responds to correction when needed. She does have some prey drive and should not live with birds or small animals. Kokomo is a classic escape artist—her husky roots shine through, and she can clear a three-foot fence with no effort. A six-foot fence keeps her safe, but she shouldn’t be left outdoors unsupervised. She’s housetrained, crate trained, and would benefit from structured basic obedience classes (with a $50 refund offered for completing training).
