About Kokomo
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Kokomo, a beautiful and resilient girl ready for her fresh start! Despite a tough past, Kokomo’s heart remains open—she adores people and is happiest snuggled up on the sofa with her favorite human. This active companion thrives on both physical and mental challenges, making her the perfect hiking or jogging partner, and she would certainly enjoy camping trips and fun-filled adventures. Kokomo is always up for a car ride and is smart, picking up new commands quickly. She socializes well with dogs her own size in her foster home, though she sometimes plays a little rough and benefits from consistent correction. Because Kokomo has a notable prey drive, she is best suited for a home without birds or small animals. True to her Siberian Husky heritage, she’s an explorer at heart—known to leap over shorter fences and run with incredible speed! A high (6-foot) fence and supervision outdoors are musts. Kokomo is both housebroken and crate trained. Her future adopter is strongly encouraged to attend basic training classes to support her transition and growth, and there’s a $50 adoption refund upon completion of a class. With her love of adventure and loyalty, Kokomo promises to be the ultimate sidekick for someone ready for life’s journeys. Did you know Kokomo is a Capricorn? Capricorns are known for determination and loyalty—traits that shine through in Kokomo’s resilient spirit. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
