I’m Percy! I am a little over a year old and weigh 64 pounds. I’ve been with Love Mutts Rescue since I was 8 weeks old so I fortunately only know love and snuggles, which I love to do! I’m up to date on all of my vaccines, neutered, and Heartworm negative. I was so good at the vet and everyone fell in love with me! I’m an American Staffy mix with Border Collie. I am very athletic and love to swim to cool off after chasing and playing with my foster sisters and brothers. I’m house and crate trained and walk well on my harness. I do need structure in my life because I can get protective of my food so I don’t mind eating in my crate where I feel comfortable. I’m not a picky eater and I’ll try anything! I love berries, bananas, bread….you name it, I’ll try it! I get along with dogs when I’m properly introduced and learn my boundaries quickly. I would also be ok as an only dog too so I can get all of the love and attention. I’ve not met any cats however my prey drive is high so I’d be best in a home with no cats. I enjoy long walks, sunshine, balls and toys. I even return the ball about half the time. I absolutely love all people, including kids. I’d be best in a home with older kids though because I think I’m a lapdog and may accidentally knock over a toddler. He is available for our adult dogs 2 week foster to adopt program.
