Beckham is a 3-year-old, 62-pound Labrador Retriever/Terrier mix with an incredibly soft, short coat—his foster says petting him is truly relaxing. He loves nothing more than snuggling on the couch or rolling over for belly rubs, but he’s always up for adventure. Beckham thrives on walks, hikes, and car rides with his person. When he really trusts you, prepare for some happy zoomies and his trademark wiggle dance, especially if you’re giving out affectionate butt scratches. Beckham seems happiest with an active person who has a fenced yard, and he might enjoy another confident dog as a playmate. He’s mastered being house trained, crate trained, and leash trained, plus he knows his basic commands and really enjoys positive, treat-based training. Beckham is neutered, microchipped, healthy, and current on vaccinations. He’s currently fostered by a trainer, who will help his new family make a smooth transition. Note Beckham does not get along with cats but does well with children. His adoption process includes a two-week foster-to-adopt period to make sure it’s a good fit on both sides.
