About Cookie
Cookie is a gentle lady who lost her owner several years ago and made her way back to rescue with a group of feline companions. Now, Cookie is the last of the group hoping for a quiet, loving retirement home. After a medical tune-up and dental surgery to remove her teeth, she’s in good shape and healthy. During the day, Cookie rotates between lounging on the bed, gazing out the window, and stretching out in her beloved cardboard van—if you sprinkle some catnip, she puts on a show. She eats dry kibble through the day and looks forward to her evening canned food, as long as it isn’t pate. Cookie sleeps in her cattery at night since the current foster home has dogs and a dog door, but she’s been around dogs before. She would do best as the only cat in a calm home without young children. She appreciates having a cozy, private space to retreat to when visitors drop by. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate senior companion, Cookie is ready for her next chapter. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
