About Buttercup
Buttercup is a gentle, medium-sized mixed breed who has traveled an incredible journey—from the streets of Kabul, Afghanistan to a foster home in the Northeast. She came to the rescue as a puppy and has grown up with caring hands guiding her to safety and comfort. Life in a quiet, secure home is still new, and Buttercup approaches it all with a blend of timidity and curiosity. She is shy at first and takes a little while to feel comfortable, but once she does, Buttercup shows a deep affection for her people. She gets along well with other dogs and is learning to enjoy family life in her foster home. Buttercup is house trained, spayed, and fully vaccinated. She loves long walks and the comforts of a soft bed, and thrives with patient, understanding people who can give her time to adjust. Buttercup will bring true warmth and loyalty to a home ready to help her settle in and start anew. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
