About Buttercup
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Meet Buttercup! This sweet girl is a real gem. Buttercup made her way from Kabul, Afghanistan, where she was rescued as a one-month-old pup and lovingly cared for until her journey brought her to almost one year of age in the Northeast. The region she came from has been deeply affected by conflict, leaving many animals without homes, but Buttercup’s spirit shines through. She is currently living with another dog in her foster home and, while she’s still learning what it feels like to be part of a family, she is steadily building confidence with the support of her foster and trainer. Buttercup is a timid soul who takes some time to settle in, but when she does, she rewards her people with plenty of affection. She enjoys the simple joys of a warm bed, nice long walks, and full meals, thriving more each day as she adjusts to the comforts of home life. As she gets used to these new experiences, she will need patience and understanding while she decompresses and learns to trust in her new surroundings. With time, Buttercup will surely bring joy and devoted companionship to a loving family ready to give her the fresh start she so deserves. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
