Weighing in at a petite 21.6 pounds, Karmie has the charming energy of a mini doodle or perhaps a cockapoo—fun fact: poodles are known for their intelligence and trainability, so this girl is a smart cookie! 🍪 Karmie’s first chapter started with a sad surrender to a local shelter back in 2021, where she felt overwhelmed and stressed. Thankfully, our rescue swooped in to give her a second chance at happiness. ❤️ Since then, she has blossomed into a loving companion who enjoys the company of her foster mom and loves to be petted. Who wouldn’t want to be showered with love and affection? 🤗 With a gentle spirit, Karmie absolutely adores long walks and car rides! 🚗 And while she has a playful side with her toys, she’s also got a cheeky little penchant for shredding paper towels and giving leather shoes a good chew—after all, who doesn’t love a little mischief? 🎾 Now, Karmie may take a little time to warm up to new folks. She can be a bit sassy and will air snap or growl if she feels uncomfortable, especially during grooming. So, patience is key, my friend! 🌼 With love and understanding, you'll witness her anxiety ease—she’s already made fantastic strides in her foster home! However, Karmie isn’t quite ready for a bustling household. An adult-only home is the best fit for this sensitive little lady. 🏠 She shines brightest as an only dog or surrounded by calm furry friends (no puppies, please!).
