About Olaf
Olaf is a big, playful spirit who prefers to take things at his own pace with new people. He’ll hang back at first, but once trust is earned, he’ll lavish you with loyalty and affection worthy of his animated namesake. He’s still learning that the world isn’t as scary as it sometimes seems, so slow introductions and a little patience go a long way with him. His rescue family is building up his confidence, reminding him (and everyone else) that warming up takes time—and it’s worth it. People tend to smile at Olaf’s bouncy ears when he goes for walks. He loves tossing a ball, adventuring outdoors, or going on long walks, ideally with another dog by his side. For all his energy, Olaf knows how to shut it off and settle in for belly rubs and laid-back snuggles. He even thinks he’s a lap dog from time to time, but if you aren’t into that, he’ll settle for resting his head on your feet. Olaf is working on good manners—he’s learned basic commands, waits patiently at the door, and is getting comfy in his crate. He weighs about 80 pounds and is fully neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. Olaf's looking for a steady, loving home that will let him blossom into his best self. Fun fact: Olaf is a Leo—born to love and be loved in return. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
