About Sushi

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Sushi is a sweetheart who will instantly capture your heart. This lovely tortoiseshell cat was discovered all alone at just five weeks old near the beltway and I-10, and was gently lured to safety by her rescuer using a sushi dinner. Sushi has a sensitive tummy, so she requires a probiotic and specialized food, but she is otherwise a happy, healthy, sweet, and delightfully silly companion. Sushi is ready for her next adventure—a loving forever home. Make their next chapter their best one yet.

Questions about Sushi

  • What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?

Tortoiseshell cats, like most domestic cats, adapt well to indoor environments and thrive in homes where they receive plenty of attention and stimulation. They appreciate cozy spaces and vantage points to observe their surroundings.

  • How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?

Domestic cats, including tortoiseshells, do not require outdoor space as long as they have enough indoor enrichment, such as cat trees, toys, and interactive play. Providing a safe indoor environment is usually best for their health and well-being.

Tortoiseshell cats can be great companions for families with children when properly socialized. Like all cats, interactions with young children should be monitored and respectful handling encouraged.
