About Galahad
Sir Galahad, often called the Loyal Heart, has become a bit of a legend around Mountain Center, CA. He started out as a gentle, loving pup at Living Free and quickly won everyone over with his calm nature and his quirky habit of wanting to be carried like a baby. After what everyone hoped would be his forever home, life took a different turn, and he was recently found wandering solo in San Diego. When nobody came forward for him, he came right back to familiar arms. Now about two years old, Galahad is a medium-sized, yellow-coated blend of Labrador Retriever and Retriever. He still radiates steadiness and devotion, sticking close to the people he trusts. He does face a touch of separation anxiety—nothing surprising for a loyal dog who’s been through a lot—but once he’s comfortable, you see just how gentle and sweet he really is. Galahad gets along well with other dogs and children, and his dream is a calm, consistent home where he can finally settle in. Galahad was born on May 9th, so he’s a Taurus—loyal and steady as they come. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
