Joel is a young, medium-sized lab and Pit Bull Terrier mix with a golden and creamy coat. He weighs around 45 pounds and has a playful spirit, especially when there are other dogs to romp with. Joel gets along well with other dogs and genuinely enjoys their company, which helps channel his excitement. He knows how to sit and tries not to jump up, except during bursts of enthusiasm when he sometimes gets a bit mouthy. His leash manners are still a work in progress—he tends to circle and pull—but he’s learning every day. Joel loves meeting new people, is fond of long walks, hikes, and car rides, and is happiest when included in daily activities. While he may still chew on things if unsupervised, he's making improvements and responds well to positive reinforcement.
