About Jett

Jett is a brindle Plott Hound with a classic hound bark and a gentle soul. He’s devoted to the people he knows well, quick to seek out snuggles, and loves both walks and exploring the outdoors. Jett’s signature howl is a fixture at the farm. Even after more than a year at the shelter, he still gets anxious in new situations, but long, sniff-filled walks do wonders to help him relax. Jett needs a patient, understanding adopter who will let him settle in on his own timeline. He’s sweet but takes a while to earn someone’s trust, and he’s shown some resource guarding. Jett must be the only animal in an adult-only home. For the right person, he’ll make a loyal, affectionate companion who’s all about good company, good food, and adventures outdoors. Jett is a Taurus—no surprise given his steady nature. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
