About Onyx
Meet Onyx, a vibrant, energetic dog who was rescued from a tough spot and is now looking for his forever home in Dallas, TX. After a rough start, Onyx bounced back quickly in his foster home. He learned to enjoy a soft bed, good meals, and a safe yard for running and playing. Onyx picked up house training right away and hasn’t had a single accident. He even mastered a doggy door in no time. His foster mom named him for his unique brindle coat, which brings back memories of her childhood onyx chess set. Now that he’s healthy, Onyx is a bundle of energy and joy. He’d be thrilled to have another playful dog buddy or an active human who loves exercise and adventures. Onyx finished a boot camp where he learned leash skills and basic commands—he’s eager to please and picks things up fast. He gets along well with other dogs, loves children, and thrives on attention and cuddles. Crate time is fine by him, though he does get bored when left alone too long and may entertain himself in ways you might not prefer. Onyx is ready to bring his love, loyalty, and fun spirit into a new home. If you’re looking for a smart, friendly dog who’ll stick by your side and keep you laughing, Onyx may be the one for you. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
