Jake first joined his family as a wide-eyed puppy over nine years ago, growing up cherished and adored every day. Recently, due to difficult but loving circumstances, his original owner had to make the heartbreaking decision to return Jake—not out of neglect, but so he could have the best chance at continued happiness. Now safe in a loving foster home, Jake is slowly adjusting to these big life changes and waiting for his next chapter. He's searching for a forever family who can see the magic in his greying face and appreciate his loyal heart. Jake brings the full "grandpa" package: he’s sweet with children, gentle with other pets, crate and potty trained, and full of affection. Sensitive and snuggly, he loves nothing more than being close to his people. This big baby will gladly lean in for pets, smile when spoken to, and find comfort simply in your company. He is ready for a soft landing—a forever home where he can spend his golden years being spoiled, adored, and loved as deeply as he loves in return. Every animal deserves a happy ending.
