About Dexter
Dexter made his way to League for Animal Protection after being taken in by The Friends of Bedford Rescue. Now about four years old, Dexter is a small, gentle fellow who was found wandering as a stray in the Bedford/Hardy area. Sadly, no one came forward for him, but he hasn't let that dim his sweet spirit. Dexter is friendly and tends to win people over quickly with his quiet charm and affectionate personality. His tricolor coat is easy to manage, and he shows the playful, curious streak typical in beagle/setter mixes. Because Dexter needs space to safely explore, a fenced yard is a must for him. He gets along well with other dogs, making him a solid choice for homes with existing pups. Dexter is neutered and up to date on vaccines, so he's ready for his next chapter. Interesting tidbit—Dexter is a Leo, which tracks with his sunny disposition and loyal heart. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
