About Kira
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Kira is an adorable, happy, and lively young shepherd who thrives on adventure. She absolutely loves going for walks and hikes, playing fetch, splashing around in water, and is a dream to ride with in the car. Always ready for the next activity, she walks nicely on leash and already knows a few commands such as sit and wait. Kira continues to practice her basic obedience skills with volunteers and is highly motivated by treats, making training fun and easy. Friendly with other dogs, crate trained, and a big fan of belly rubs, Kira delights her caretakers with her joyful spirit. She would do best in an adult household or a home with older, considerate children where she can get the love and activity she deserves. Kira was saved by Labradors and Friends Dog Rescue Group after being overlooked at a local shelter, and after almost two years with the rescue, she is still waiting for her forever family to find her. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
