Magritte spent her early years in an overcrowded home filled with over a hundred other cats, where food and affection were both in short supply. That chaotic start left her a bit wary and reserved, especially around new people and loud noises. After being rescued from those conditions, she slowly discovered what it’s like to have a space of her own, plenty to eat, and kindness from the humans who care for her. At her foster home, she’s found comfort in the safety of a quiet environment and the company of other cats she knows. These days, Magritte is quick to greet her foster mom for pets, affection, and all the scritches she can get. She loves spending time on her cat tree or climbing around the cat condos, and while she’s not fond of being picked up, she genuinely enjoys attention once she feels comfortable.
