About Tofu
Tofu arrived at the rescue recently and hasnāt quite adjusted to all the changes. Heās a quiet presence, keeping a little distance, and seems unsure of everything around him. When given gentle pets and scratches, he responds, but thereās a sadness in his eyes, plain in his photos. Tofu came to us already neuteredāhe even has an ear tip as proof. Heās one of a small group of cats cared for by a young friend of the rescue, and you can see heās more comfortable on his own terms. Tofu would really thrive in the calm of a true home, where he could finally relax and let some of his worries go. He gets along with other cats, and at five years old, heās more interested in peace than excitement. Heād do so much better away from the stress of the shelter. Fun fact: Tofu is an Aquariusācurious but independent, just like his sign. Give him a chance at comfort and kindness. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
