About Butters
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Butters, the definition of a "spicy kitty" who has undergone an incredible transformation since being rescued from a hoarding situation in 2022. Initially timid and feisty, Butters has learned that humans can be kind if they offer patience and understanding. Over the years, she’s made great strides, especially thanks to the gentle care and time given by rescue volunteers. Butters enjoys a calm environment and needs a home that will offer her plenty of patience and space to truly blossom. She would thrive in a quiet, settled home with little change or movement, making her best suited to adopters who won’t be relocating frequently. While she may tolerate other cats—if they are respectful—she prefers not to engage or play with them. Butters is not comfortable with dogs and does not do well with children, so an adult-only, dog-free household is a must. A treat and laser pointer chaser at heart, Butters is showing more adventurousness every day, but she needs adopters who understand it may take time for her to fully reveal her loving personality. Her adoption fee covers her spay, microchip, up-to-date vaccinations, and FeLV/FIV testing. Last Hope requires all pets to be kept indoors and prefers adopters with a history of keeping their pets altered and current on vaccinations and preventatives. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
