Claus came to the rescue by way of a kind feeder in Overbrook who looked out for him and a few others. When he first landed at the SPCA years ago, he was said to be only three, but even now that age doesn’t add up—he seems to have some years on him, perhaps closer to nine or ten. His body carries the telltale signs of an older cat who’s been through his share of challenges, yet despite a rough stretch, Claus is deeply sweet and easy to love. He’s already shown he gets along well with other cats, and there’s a soft calmness about him. We’ll get him fully checked by a vet and up-to-date on everything.
