Meet Pepper, a young black and white boy with a gentle heart and a story that nearly ended too soon. For weeks, he lingered around a home, hoping for kindness but was taken to the shelter with a heartbreaking request: euthanasia. Luckily, a compassionate friend at the shelter saw the spark in his eyes and reached out to us. Once he arrived at Kit E Kat’s Rescue, Pepper began to blossom. Initially, he took a bit of time to decompress, but now he’s showing his true colors: sweet, quiet, and tender. He may be a bit shy at first, but earn his trust (hint: Churu treats are a game-changer!) and you'll find a lovable companion. Pepper exemplifies how a bit of patience and love can transform a life.
