Sofia is the definition of affectionate—she loves to be near her humans and thrives on attention and petting. At a year and nine months old, this Domestic Short Hair is fully grown, but the playful streak has stuck with her. Wand toys are her absolute favorite, and she’ll leap around to chase them before retiring to her strawberry-shaped bed for a long nap. Sofia doesn’t warm up instantly to everyone, but once she does, she’ll reward you with nonstop conversation and loving stares. Her soft, gray tabby coat and expressive eyes give her a memorable presence. Sofia lives with chronic calicivirus, which is basically a manageable chronic cold. Her eyes stay somewhat watery and squinty—oddly enough, it adds to her charm. She just needs someone who will keep an eye on her health and step in with medication if needed, though most days she’s busy gazing out windows or cuddling up.
