She moves slowly, is unable to jump, and can be a bit wobbly, but she still enjoys taking care of herself and exploring her space.
About Sunny
Sunny is a resilient cat who has been through a lot. Adopted as a kitten with mild cerebellar hypoplasia, she was later returned to rescue unable to move her hind legs. After months of therapy, vet care, medications, and patience, she has regained her ability to move around—though she’s still a bit wobbly. These days, Sunny enjoys wandering the house, finding comfortable spots on the couch, and lounging in the grass. She’s become obsessed with the resident rooster, watching him from the window every day. Sunny is independent with her litterbox and mealtime, and despite her challenges, acts like a typical cat in many ways. Quiet and loving, she has a soft spot for people and wants to be near her human as much as she can—even following to the bathroom if allowed. She’s done well with gentle dogs and adult cats but prefers not to be around kittens, and would likely do best as an only feline. Her special needs mean she moves and reacts more slowly, and she can't jump. The rescue is open to a foster-to-adopt situation to make sure everyone finds the right fit. Sunny deserves a stable and affectionate home that will stick by her, quirks and all. Leo cats like Sunny tend to enjoy the spotlight and are happiest when they feel loved and secure.
