Bentlie is a small, brown Domestic Short Hair living in Los Angeles, CA. She is a 3 year and 9 month old adult female cat who has been spayed and is up to date on her vaccinations. Bentlie is paralyzed in her back legs and requires regular bladder and bowel care, thriving best in a safe environment without stairs or uneven floors.

About Bentlie

Bentlie has captured hearts ever since she was found on a scorching Labor Day, dragging her paralyzed back legs down a hot sidewalk in the San Fernando Valley. She has a sweet, expressive face and a bold personality that fills any room. Bentlie lives with spayed confidence and a cheerful outlook despite needing her bladder and bowels expressed several times a day. She can wear kitty diapers and zoom around the house just like any other cat. Homes without stairs, carpeting, or multiple levels are best for her comfort and safety. She’s playful, enjoys other cats, and shares space peacefully with her foster mom’s large dogs. Bentlie is up to date on vaccines and has tested negative on her combo test, so she’s as healthy as can be, just in need of some extra support. If you’re new to caring for paralyzed cats, you’ll find plenty of encouragement from others with similar pets. She’s a Leo, so her shining spirit comes as no surprise. What are you waiting for?
