About Silver
Silver is one of the longest-standing residents with KD Kitties. This petite Siamese started her foster journey caring for her three kittens, all of whom have found homes, leaving her ready for a fresh start. Compared to many Siamese, sheâs notably quiet, with a gentle shyness that shows her feral roots. She prefers calm environments, often spending her days napping in a sunny window or perched on a cat tree. While she wonât let you pick her up, she will welcome gentle pets once she trusts you. Silver adores catnip and will quietly enjoy your company from a distance until sheâs more at ease. Silver isnât a cat for someone after instant affectionâshe needs patience and understanding, ideally in a peaceful, routine-driven home. Adopters should expect her to take months, possibly a year or more, to fully settle in and adjust. Sheâs lived with an older child and dog before, but truly thrives away from dogs or young children, and would likely be happiest in a quiet home with other friendly cats. While she can be adopted solo, pairing her with her friend Tom (Mr. Tom DâWhite Paws) is recommended for her comfort. Ready to offer a gentle cat the steady, loving home she needs?
