Newt & Chalk
AvailableNewt & Chalk are medium-sized, neutered male domestic short hair cats, around 2 years and 5 months old, living in Pinson, AL. They are house trained and do well with both cats and children. Both boys bounced back from early challenges and are now healthy and looking for their forever home together.
About Newt & Chalk
Newt spent his first five months fending for himself in a parking lot, relying on a kind feeder for daily meals. When his feeder moved away, the rescue brought him in, but the sudden change and close quarters with thirty other cats left him overwhelmed. He hid, stopped eating and drinking, and needed medical help, but he’s bounced back since then. Now, Newt reveals a gentle, truly affectionate side and would fit best in a quieter home. Chalk, rescued from a gas station vacuum, was shy at first, but soon started following Newt’s lead, finding his confidence. Both are loving and best friends—adopting this bonded pair will bring out the best in each. They get along well with other cats and are great with kids. Fun fact: With a December 1st birthday, Newt and Chalk are Sagittariuses—expect a taste for curiosity and a dash of playfulness from these two. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
