Laney showed up as a surprise after being trapped by another rescue—confident, already spayed, and clearly used to a home. No microchip and no one came looking for her, but she took everything in stride. At around 5 or 6 years old, she’s got a laid-back spirit and loves a sunny window as much as a good snuggle. Her long brown tabby coat is looking better all the time after treatment for a flea allergy that had bothered her skin before. Laney does best as the one and only pet in the house and gets along well with people of all ages.
